Formerly-Slim Celebs Who Gained Massive Amounts Of Weight

Britney Spears
This star broke onto the music scene as a teenager with blonde hair and an hourglass figure. Sadly, her career fizzled among run-ins with the law, stints in rehab and broken marriages.

Now she’s doing a regular Vegas show, and her demanding schedule has caused her to pile on the pounds. She’s still seriously beautiful, but it might be time for a style change – the bra and undies look isn’t super flattering.

Kelly Clarkson

This American Idol winner has been criticized for her weight gain, but she isn’t letting that bother her. Recently she told Ellen “we are who we are, whatever size”. So true.

Vince Vaughn

Ladies aren’t the only ones who get criticized for piling on the pounds. These days Vince Vaughn is more dad bod than hot bod, but he’s still got that killer sense of humor that sucks us in.

Christian Bale

This guy is famous for his ability to put on and drop weight for roles. He committed to his largest weight gain ever for American Hustle, and pulled it off with ease.
We’re amazed that he goes to such lengths for roles, but seriously Christian, this can’t be healthy.

Steven Seagal

This actor, director and martial arts legend was made of muscle at the height of his career. Since then, he’s let himself go a little.

Now at 63, Seagal isn’t looking his best. He could probably still kick our butts though.

Val Kilmer

Val Kilmer was once everyone’s favorite chiseled hunk, but lately his weight’s been fluctuating, apparently because of a health condition.

After putting on a huge amount of weight, Kilmer spent 2014 slimming down so that he was the appropriate size to play Mark Twain in an upcoming movie, something he’s announced as his “dream role”.

Jessica Simpson

Jessica’s had on-and-off weight problems all through her career. She got into top shape for her role in Dukes of Hazzard, but she found the size hard to maintain. She also attracted media attention for her 70-pound weight gain during her first pregnancy.

She jokes that her weight gain is her husband Eric Johnson’s fault. He always tells her she looks great, no matter what size she is.

Matt Damon

Matt’s maintained a sexy body throughout most of his movie career, which was why it was so shocking to see him 30 pounds heavier in The Informant. He had to pile on the pounds for his role, and says that he found it really easy.

He’s working hard to lose it now, especially with a new Bourne film coming up. He’s taken up boxing, but right now describes himself as “the Sexiest Man Alive’s chunky cousin.”

Carrie Fisher

Carrie Fisher was once every boy’s dream girl. Then she stopped acting, fell out of the spotlight and developed some not-so-healthy eating habits.

She’s recently dropped 40 pounds and she’s getting ready to reprise her role as Princess Leia in the new Star Wars movie.

Marlon Brando

Back in his prime, Marlon Brando was the ultimate sex symbol. He was also a talented actor, winning Oscars for his performances in The Godfather and On the Waterfront.

Then he got older, and his eating habits got out of control. It’s rumored that in one sitting, Brando devoured 12 Burger King whoppers, two whole chickens, five gallons of ice cream and six hot dogs. At one point, he weighed 350 pounds.

Mark Hamill

Like Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill let himself go after the buzz from Star Wars had subsided.

For Star Wars Episode VII, both actors have been supplied with personal trainers and top nutritionists, so they’ll be looking their best when they start filming.

Mariah Carey

Mariah Carey was a goddess in her youth, with the voice of an angel and the body to match. A slim figure is harder to maintain the older you get, and as the stress from Mariah’s hectic tour schedule piled on, so did the pounds.

These days she’s happy and healthy with her new beau James Packer and her kids.

Brendan Fraser

Brendan’s six pack is one of the main reasons he looked so good swinging through the trees in that loin cloth. In his current shape, we’re glad he’s not parading around in scraps of fabric anymore.

Keely Shaye Smith

Keely’s more commonly known as Pierce Brosnan’s wife, and when she first stepped out on the red carpet she sported a stunning hourglass figure.

Now, after giving birth to two children, she’s looking curvier than ever, but she still knows how to rock a bikini like a pro.

Adrienne Bailon and Marries Israel Houghton in Romantic Paris Wedding

E! News has exclusively learned that Adrienne Bailon has married Israel Houghton in a stunning ceremony surrounding by close family and friends at the Hotel Plaza Athénéel in Paris.

"I genuinely just feel so blessed and grateful. I've honestly never been happier in my entire life," Bailon later told People. "I've never felt what I feel right now. I can't even describe what it is, but it's such a peace mixed with total excitement."

The couple exchanged their vows around 7 p.m. local time at the lavish hotel one day after celebrating with a rehearsal dinner at hot spot Ferdi, where the newly minted Mr. and Mrs. Houghton first met approximately a decade ago. C'est romantique!
The Real's Loni Love, Jeannie Mai and Tamera Mowry-Housley were among the 70 guests in attendance. "I'm so glad we chose such an intimate group of who have shared in our journey and know our hearts and that I honestly feel comfortable crying in front of," Bailon told People. "I didn't want to invite people I felt I had to put on a performance for. I wanted every moment to be genuine and really special and that's what it is going to be."

In early September, the blushing bride gushed to E! News exclusively about her wedding planning and finishing up the last-minute touches on her very special day.

"I got engaged in Paris and I had a flight home back to L.A.—it's a very long flight—I pretty much planned the whole wedding on the plane ride home, so I'm good!"
The 33-year-old star had also been prepared for her new moniker well in advance, as she recently showed off stationary with the "Future Mrs. Houghton" printed on it.

Bailon, ahem, Mrs. Houghton, also told us that she and her hubby were planning on an "elegant and intimate" setting for the dream day.

"We agree on everything. That's weird," she joked of making their wedding day decisions.

"He actually has better taste than me, so if I picked something else, I always go with him because he always has better taste."

Congratulations to the happy couple on their marriage!

Michelle Obama Talks Fashion Legacy and Life After the White House for Final Vogue Issue as First Lady

With her third and final Vogue cover as First Lady, Michelle Obama is offering some parting words on wardrobe and the White House.

Since moving her clothes into 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, the 52-year-old lawyer and mother of two has redefined first lady fashion in her eight years as the Commander-in-Chief's right-hand woman. Between giving sartorial unknowns a try to making a splash in bold styles, Obama has left behind a legacy of distinct modern couture—but not without comfort first.

"It all boils down to comfort level: If I'm going to make you comfortable, then I have to be comfortable first," she said in the December issue of Vogue. "So my first reaction isn't 'Who made this?' But 'Let's try it on. What does it look like?...There are definitely designers that I love, people I love to work with. And who they are as people matters. Are they good people? Do they treat their staff well? Do they treat my staff well? Are they young? Can I give them a boost? But! When all of that is equal . . . is it cute?!"

The candid response is a subtle reminder that the Chicago native with little political experience before her husband's 2008 election sought out to be a first lady all her own.

"Everything we do is by choice," she said of the role. "I could have spent eight years doing anything, and at some level, it would have been fine. I could have focused on flowers. I could have focused on decor. I could have focused on entertainment. Because any First Lady, rightfully, gets to define her role. There's no legislative authority; you're not elected. And that's a wonderful gift of freedom."

With a newly elected replacement and less than three months until Donald Trump's inauguration, FLOTUS catches herself looking at daily life with sentimental eyes.

"You know, there are little . . . moments. Even today I was looking out at this view here...looking out on the South Lawn and the Washington Monument and it had just rained and the grass was really green and everything popped a little bit more. It's soooo beautiful. And for that moment I thought, I'm going to miss waking up to this, having access to this anytime I want," she told the magazine.

"But on the flip side . . . it's time. I think our democracy has it exactly right: two terms, eight years. It's enough," she told the magazine. "The nature of living in the White House is isolating. And I think Barack [Obama] and I—because we're kind of stubborn—we've maintained some normalcy, mostly because of the age of our kids. I go out to dinner with my girlfriends; I go to Sasha's games; Barack has coached a little basketball with Sasha's team. But at the same time, when you can't walk into CVS?"

While she may enjoy more leisurely trips to CVS after Jan. 20, Obama doesn't intend on taking off her civil service hat any time soon.

"I've never been the former First Lady of the United States of America before," Obama said. "But I will always be engaged in some way in public service and public life. The minute I left my corporate-law firm to work for the city, I never looked back. I've always felt very alive using my gifts and talents to help other people. I sleep better at night. I'm happier."

Darnell Nicole Reveals Her Estranged Fiancé Wants the Engagement Ring Back in Emotional WAGS Miami Clip

Darnell Nicole leans on Vanessa Cole, Hencha Voigt and Metisha Schaefer as she reveals some heartbreaking news about her relationship with Miami Dolphins safety Reshad Jones in this emotional clip from Sunday's all-new episode of WAGS Miami.

"So, me and Reshad are just like—we're going through it," Darnell explains through her tears. "At this point, Reshad asked for my engagement ring back. He doesn't understand the damage he has done. He doesn't understand what that does to my heart, to my soul and how that affects me as a mother."
Darnell then gets even more upset as she talks about wanting to protect their daughter from pain she felt as a child during her own parents' divorce.

"That completely destroyed my life," she says in her confessional. "I remember lashing out and being so angry with my mother and not so much at my father, even though he's the one that did wrong. Now that I'm in this situation, I never want my daughter to grow up feeling the same way about me."

"I want so much more, so much better, for her," she tells the girls. "I just feel like I let him back in my life, and I have to go through this s--t with my baby all over again."

Victoria Beckham shows off her super slim frame for a rare stage appearance with husband David

The fashion designer and footballing legend attended the Global Shopping Festival Countdown Gala
Victoria Beckham and her husband David made a rare stage appearance in China this week.

They are one of the busiest couples on the planet with a bumper schedule and four children to look after, but that didn't stop them attending the Global Shopping Festival Countdown Gala in Shenzhen, Guangdong Province.

Fashion designer Victoria , 42, and the footballing legend, 41, who are often working on separate projects, came together for a rather stylish display.
Victoria showed she's not as serious as fans think as she playfully tried on a pair of over-sized mirrored shades, while David looked at her adoringly in a cute stage moment.

The former Spice Girl looked gorgeous in a black sleeveless chiffon-trimmed crepe dress from her own collection and heels as she flaunted her slim frame.

Her famous husband went for a navy suit, white shirt, silver tie clip, and black smart shoes for the occasion.

The pair could barely take their hands off each other as Victoria was filmed following her husband into the venue earlier in the evening and taking a selfie of the pair in a mirror.

They looked like loved-up teenagers and she also showed off her outfit in a separate shot while getting dolled up.

"What shall I wear??? Kisses from China x VB #VBPreSS17 #VBHongKong victoriabeckham.com @lanecrawford," she wrote alongside the snap.

Chanelle Hayes battles with a hotdog as she indulges on holiday in Ibiza after defending her figure

Everyone likes to indulge on holiday and it looks like Chanelle Hayes is now different.

The former Big Brother star was seen enjoying a hotdog on the beach in Ibiza this week and look pretty happy with herself as she tucked into the junk food and appeared to break into giggles as she struggled with the giant bap.

Going make-up free and rocking a purple bikini the 28-year-old wore her locks pulled back into a bun as she sat outside a beach bar on the White Isle, where she's currently on holiday with boyfriend Ryan Oates.
Revealing that she's been feasting on greasy foods as a cure for her hangovers, the star shared a snap of a giant full English earlier this week, writing alongsie it: "Left @RyanJOates hanging out of his a*** in bed to come get this hangover cure!"
Clearly needing to cool down she followed up the bacon roll with an ice cream, which she tucked into during a stroll in the sea.

She later was pictured enjoying a walk around the harbour in her purple two-piece and enjoyed a quiet moment as she took a seat on the dock.

Chanelle's holiday comes after she hit out at This Morning presenter Phillip Schofield over her weight and insisted she was happy with her figure.

The former Big Brother babe recently spoke out about being comfortable with her weight - but was stunned when the This Morning presenter questioned whether she was just doing it all to bag a weight loss DVD deal.
While the reality star is famous for her yo-yo dieting, Chanelle has insisted that those days are well and truly behind her.

She told Closer magazine: "Even when I've been slim I haven't necessarily been happy, but things are good now, so I don't see any reason to change."
Before cheekily adding: "Everyone likes something to grab hold of, don't they?"

Chanelle has repeatedly denied that she has plans for a fitness video in the pipeline, despite later claiming that she'd be "stupid" to turn down a big money offer if one came along.

Devastated Michael Bublé 'will not sing again' until his son Noah, 3, overcomes liver cancer treatment

Michael Buble has reportedly put his singing career on hold to focus on his son Noah's recovery from liver cancer.
The singer, 41, is said to be in a 'huge bubble' and prioritising his three-year-old's treatment - which allegedly includes four months of chemotherapy.
'He will not sing again until his child is well, I'm certain of it,' Michael's friend and Canadian musician David Foster told Entertainment Tonight Canada on Thursday.

The musician added: 'Right now he's in a huge bubble, as you would expect.'
'When this happens, everything shuts down around you. You go inside your little bubble and I don't think he's looking at social media.
'I'm sure he feels the love from millions of people.'
Commenting on Michael's mental state, David added that the Canadian singer was in 'good shape' and relying on the doctors around him.
In a statement released last week, Michael revealed he and his wife Luisiana Lopilato would be putting their careers 'on hold' to devote time to Noah's recovery.
He wrote: 'Luisana and I have put our careers on hold in order to devote all our time and attention to helping Noah get well.'
It was reported on Wednesday by an Argentinian magazine that Noah has liver cancer.
Doctors in Los Angeles confirmed Michael and Luisana's worst fears last Tuesday after doing a liver biopsy following an initial examination at a clinic in Buenos Aires.
Noah is also said to have started chemotherapy which is going to last four months, magazine Gente reports.

Luisana's elder sister Daniela told the magazine on Tuesday: 'If God wanted it to be discovered that way, it's because he wants to save Noah.
'Cancer is a horrible illness but we have faith in Noah being able to overcome this.
'We know he will. The time to start a long and very difficult treatment has come but it's got to be done.
'They say children are normally strong to put up with chemotherapy and my nephew is a warrior.'
Argentinian media had speculated Noah was suffering mumps when Luisana, 29, flew to the States at the end of last month.
She had been preparing to start filming an English-language movie called Numb, At The Edge Of The End, alongside Harvey Keitel and Hayden Christensen.
Detailing the events leading up to Noah's cancer diagnosis, confirmed in a statement released by Michael and his wife last week, Gente said: 'She took her son to the Otamendi Miroli Hospital in Buenos Aires because he had a high fever.
'After an exhaustive examination, they ruled out mumps and suggested two possibilities, a throat infection or mononucleosis.
'To rule out the second possibility they had to carry out a battery of tests which included an abdominal ultrasound.

'On October 27, after a throat swab, they confirmed he had a throat infection and not mononucleosis but the ultrasound had detected a liver problem.
'The doctors told Luisana, 'He has a stain on his liver, but it's not got different tones and therefore it's probably benign but we have to continue with the tests.''
Michael, who was working in London, is said to have told his wife to seek a second opinion in LA and Luisana flew to the States on October 29 with their nine-month-old son Elias and her parents.
Luisana's sister, a nutritionist and part-time actress, told Gente: 'It was there they discovered something wasn't right.
'We have very good specialists but for personal and family reasons, Michael and my sister decided to fly to the States.'
The magazine said they were told after the devastating November 1 cancer diagnosis that Noah would need chemo and the possibility of surgery afterwards to remove the tumour - but his chances of beating it were 90 per cent.
Michael and his wife of five years confirmed their son had cancer on the singer's Facebook page last week.
They said in a statement: 'We are devastated about the recent cancer diagnosis of our oldest son Noah who is currently undergoing treatment in the US.
'We have always been very vocal about the importance of family and the love we have for our children.
'Luisana and I have put our careers on hold in order to devote all our time and attention to helping Noah get well.'

Asking for people's prayers, the statement added: 'We have a long journey in front of us and hope that with the support of family, friends and fans around the world, we will win this battle, God willing.'
Daniela confirmed at the end of last week the youngster did not have leukemia as she admitted the entire family were 'broken in half.'
She is preparing to fly to LA in the next few days to be with her nephew, Luisana and their parents Eduardo and Betty.
Telling Gente how Noah was doing, she said: 'He has the innocence of children and that is good. He doesn't understand too much what is happening.
'The love people are showing is helping us to see things with optimism and we have a lot of faith.

The Canadian musician and the Argentinian actress and model welcomed their second son, Elias, into the world in January.
Last week, Bublé appeared on an hour-long show, pre-recorded for the BBC in Salford last month.
In Bublé At The BBC, the singer told host Claudia Winkleman he 'just didn't know that level of love existed'.
He said of his sons: 'I just love them so much that part of loving them so much is not giving them everything they want and that is a tough thing for me.'
When asked about returning to work, he said it was 'really tough', and that Noah did not want him to leave.
He said: 'My son Noah is three, Eli eight months, and Noah said to me 'Poppy, for what are you going?' I said 'Well, daddy is going to go and sing'.
'And it kills you, he said: 'Please don't go, I will be a good boy', and I think I'm the worst human being in the universe.'
Earlier, Bublé's wife Luisana filmed young Noah singing.
The 41-year-old Canadian singer recently released an album, Nobody But Me.
Michael has previously described fatherhood as the best thing that has ever happened to him.
He said in an interview with Entertainment Tonight in October: 'I love them more than I'll ever love anything, or anyone in the whole universe.
'I think it gave me perspective on life that I think I very badly needed. It's hard to be able to quantify that level of love.
'I didn't know that level of love existed. But it makes me better at everything. It allows me to pull more emotion and be more honest and to be in the moment.
'The only regret that I have in my life is that I took this long to have kids, because I had no idea the perspective it would give me. I had no idea how much I would love being a dad.
'That's it, that's all I care about ... I love them too much probably, if there was such a thing.
'It's made everything else so insignificant, moments that I was afraid of and moments that would overwhelm me have now become a joy because I see how not serious they are compared to what is really important, which is Noah and Eli and that's it.'
Bublé, 41, has sold more than 40 million albums worldwide with his smooth covers of jazz standards and original songs.
He married Lopilato, 29, in 2011.
One fan posted a video on Facebook of the performer singing on stage with Noah in December 2015.
Actress Luisana told Page Six earlier this year that the doting parents love nothing more than spending all their time with their boys.
'We are a little weird about our kids. We love to be with our kids a lot. When we are out for one hour, we miss them.'

Bublé was due to perform at the BBC Music Awards in London's ExCel conference centre on December 12 but pulled out on Tuesday.
He would join Kaiser Chiefs, Emeli Sande and Lukas Graham on the line-up but radio DJ Steve Wright announced Buble's withdrawal on his BBC Radio 2 show.
Bob Shennan, director of BBC Music, said: 'We send Michael and his family our very best wishes.'
Michael is also due to host the Juno awards in Ottawa on April 2, 2017 and was expected to go on tour next year and do a Christmas special in Hollywood for NBC, according to www.cba.ca.
'Our thoughts and prayers are with Michael and his family during this difficult time. We are respecting his request for privacy, as such we cannot comment on his participation in the 2017 Juno Awards at this time,' said a spokesperson for the Junos.

In June 2015, Noah sustained 'serious burns' after an accident involving scalding water.
