Tanzanian President John Magufuli last week fired Home
Affairs Minister Charles Kitwanga for misconduct after the Minister allegedly
came to Parliament drunk. Following the sacking, social media has been
applauding Magufuli for frowning upon unprofessionalism and taking an
uncompromising stance against public officials who abuse their authority and
office.
